Undereye Threadlift treats the skin under and towards the sides of the eyes, that has become wrinkled and lax due to ageing.
The eye threads used are made of polydioxanone (PDO) which are safe and completely absorbable. Upon insertion into the skin, they fire up a regenerative process which brings about skin remodelling, contracting and tightening the loose wrinkly skin as a result. Overall, the skin under the eyes is tightened and improved, giving a rejuvenated and more youthful appearance.
Prior to the procedure, numbing cream and local anaesthesia may be applied to ensure a largely painless and comfortable session. Entry points will then be marked and eye threads inserted at the undereye. There is minimal to no downtime for the procedure except for needle marks at the entry points.
There is a gradual and progressive improvement in the quality of skin over the next 2-6 months. Loose skin becomes tighter while dark circles and eye puffiness are softened. An overall rejuvenation in the area under the eye is achieved, giving you a revitalized appearance. The results from eye threadlift may last up to 12 months.
